2011 Octavia with 1.4 TSI turbocharged engine with 122 PS and 7 speed DSG automatic gearbox. Arctic silver with black cloth interior. Supplied by D.M. A relative from whom we'd purchased a car in around 2008 contacted us to see if we would be interested and we travelled to York to view and subsequently collect, the 150 mile journey home proving a good test drive.

The Octavia is admittedly not the most exciting of cars but it's a good value alternative to the Golf or A3 and offers a fair bit of extra space for owners who like to fill up the back seats or boot.
This example is typical of a car driven sparingly by careful older owners and is absolutely pristine inside and out. The test drive back from York confirmed that it also drives perfectly.
The 122 PS version of the TSI engine should not be confused with the complicated 160 and 180 PS versions which also employ a supercharger to produce these heady figures. This version is relatively simple with a chain driven 4 cylinder engine (meaning no cambelt changes are needed) and a small turbo located at the front.
