2009 Leon Cupra. The K1 model was imported to the UK as a standard Cupra and fitted with the 'K1' BTCC inspired bodykit and centre exhaust by Seat UK. We have been duly diligent (see below) and believe this one to be a genuine example but to avoid disappointment, buyers should assume it's not. This example was first registered to Seat UK on 13/3/2009. The third purchased it in 2011 from a Seat main dealer trading in a BMW. We have his purchase receipt and believe he was a (then) 51 year old managing director called Jeffrey. He traded it in at a Ford main dealership for a Focus RS (his cherished reg is now showing as on one). The Ford dealership was part of the Evans Halshaw group and they advertised the Leon for sale where it was spotted by one of my old customers who had it shipped to an Evans Halshaw branch in Birmingham from where he purchased it. He offered it to us directly.

To confirm that this car is a genuine K1, enter the reg at the SEAT Insurance website HERE and you will see it's listed as a K1
(see screenshot in gallery above)

43500 miles. There is a gap in the history where it covered 20k miles with nothing recorded between 2011 and 2015 while in the ownership of 'Jeffrey'. It's quite unusual for an older owner to not have had the car serviced so we have found an email address and asked the question but can't guarantee a reply. MOT history confirms the mileage during this period. We have a number of receipts going back to 2011 including many from the last owner attending to issues, many of which were performed under warranty. Cambelt was changed in 2015 by Seat so not due until 2020.
At the last service Midland VW recommended replacement of the front wiper blades and the rear brake discs and pads and these will be done by us before sale using original quality parts.
Co2 emissions of 199 g/km.
HPI clear as with all our cars
MOT to 2/1/2020 - no advisory notices at last MOT.

Complete owners manual wallet, 2 keys, original floor mats. Locking wheel bolt key is present.

Spec includes RNS-510 navigation system (possibly not factory fitted), multi-function steering wheel, electric folding mirrors, cruise control, climate control, Cupra branded bucket seats.
Modifications we are aware of are Eibach springs, hubcentric wheel spacers (front and rear). Not currently remapped. We believe it may have been previously remapped but the source was unclear so we asked Vince at Stealth Racing to put it back to standard as we only sell remapped cars when we can trust who has performed the work.

Condition is unusually good as I'd imagine most of these cars get wrecked very quickly but this one seems to have survived OK. We believe all paintwork on metal panels to be original. These bumpers & sills were originally fitted & painted by Seat in the UK and don't seem to be as durable as the factory paintwork as chips lead to paint flaking off. As a result, we have had the front bumper, a section of the rear bumper and the nearside sill repainted off the car to a very high standard at great expense.
The interior is excellent with no funny smells and just a bit of wear to the driver's outer lower seat bolster to betray the mileage.

The wheels have some minor marks which have been touched in and come with a matched set of top quality Goodyear Eagle F1 tyres which are nearly new.
The driving experience is very impressive. I expected the Eibach springs to have ruined the ride quality but it remains acceptable. It's not a noisy car as it retains its original exhaust system and is very refined on the go. The massive R32 spec brakes do a great job too which is just as well.
