02/02 TT 225 Roadster
SALE AGREED

2002 TT Roadster with 225 PS 4 cylinder 1781cc turbocharged engine and Haldex based quattro all wheel drive. 2 owners from new, first was a leasing company during which the car notched up 75k. Then it was purchased by a gentleman from Worcestershire from reputable specialist TVS. We maintained it while our workshop was running in 2009-2012 and sporadically since hence how we got to buy it from the owner.

Full service history in original service book (see images). All supporting receipts from new carefully organised in folder. No miles done since cambelt change (with damper and pump), new Audi springs, new MOT, wheel refurb, Michelin tyres.
HPI clear as with all our cars.
MOT to July 2018
Complete owners manual wallet, new floor mats, tonneau cover. NO SPARE KEY
Standard spec of electric windows, electric mirrors, 18" RS4 style alloy wheels (genuine Audi), trip computer, power hood, electric glass wind deflector.

I bought this to add to my fleet as the convertible option (every collection should have an open top car!) and occasional track day car as it seemed too good to miss. While cheap, the price agreed only made sense if I took it on as a project as I'd get a fully sorted car for the price of a lower mileage one that would need all the work doing to it. The spanner in the works was my Edition 30 project car which was bought in early July and having been invited to produce 'Project GTI' articles for VW Driver magazine, all my spare time has gone on this leaving the TT neglected. And with this situation not likely to change in the forseeable future and covered space at work at a premium I have reluctantly decided to sell it.
The bodywork is largely original and all panels are original. It's in exceptional condition, yes the front is chippy but the colour does a good job of hiding this. There is very early stage corrosion on the front wheel arch lips (see photos of wheels which capture the area) and a bit around the number plate lights in the boot lid. There is a scratch touched in around the base of the aerial.
The interior is excellent, we used some Autoglym leather care cream and this has done wonders to the high quality leather.
The roof is in good condition with no holes or excessive wear though it could be cleaned a bit more thoroughly. The power operation works perfectly.
I believe this is a bit of a bargain and is the ideal weekend car for someone not expecting to add too many miles but wanting a pretty and desirable soft top to pull out of the garage when the sun's out, but then again that's why I bought it!
